Playing games on Facebook is fun

Do you like to gamble online? Certain laws and regulations have put restrictions to online poker and other popular games like that, but there are still millions of people that do it each day and it’s probably something that is here to stay. Playing games and cards on facebook is becoming more popular as people are looking to interact with their friends. There are numerous ways that you get facebook poker chips by either winning them or buying them online. We all like to win a little money every now and then and online gambling gives us that chance from the convenience of our homes. I enjoy playing a lot of the online games that you can win real money at. Some games just give you points and high scores and there is just so much satisfaction that you can get out of things like that. There are even games that you let build your own farm, cafe, or amusement park. When you can win real money, is when you really have something to show for your efforts.

Texas Hold’em and 5 card stud is a couple of my favorite poker games to play online. I can spend hours just sitting back and playing those two popular poker games. Poker is a game of strategy, but it also helps to have a little luck on your side too. Most people make the mistake by staying with their hands too long and there is no shame by folding early and living to fight for another hand. Patience can’t be stressed enough in the game of poker and those that have a lot of patience can usually be the ones that will stick around the longest. You do have to take chances from time to time and go with that gut feeling, but try to play off your opponent’s aggressiveness and this strategy will keep you at the table longer than most.

Youtube singing upstarts

The young 18 year-old Abigail continues to put up quality videos at You Tube. Her latest addition of this video just shows the beauty and vocal talents this teen from Mexico has. Abigail is always looking to challenge her self with a new song or learning to play a new instrument. She has dreams of composing, playing or singing music when she gets older. She has a good head on her shoulders and she continues to prove that she has talents that are worthy of bigger and brighter things than just the You Tube airwaves.

It would be nice to see someone stumble across the YouTube Sensation someday and see all of the talents Abigail has. I think commercials and television sit coms could be a possibility for her too, because she presents her self in front of the camera so well. I’m not sure yet on where this shooting star is headed right now, but I am sure of one thing and that she is truly a star. There are several new music stars that got their start and following through Youtube. With a few songs and creating their own CD’s and customized cd sleeves in their homes they have been able to get noticed on a shoestring budget. I believe it’s only a matter of time until someone else gives her a direction to go or Abigail decides that on her own. You would not won’t to bet against her, as she continues to put out sensational videos of her singing talents and just her overall charming personality that she possesses.

Gatorade to help stay hydrated

The latest heat wave that has been gripping the East coast is no laughing matter. I lived out East for 6 years and know that when the temperature goes over 90 degrees and with the humidity it can be really tough. We and our kids played sports and I can tell you first hand how taxing the heat and humidity can take on your body no matter what shape you are in. Our kids participated in soccer and those early fall soccer games required gatorade individual packets dumped in water to help them stay hydrated. The kids loved learning about the game and the parents participation was great. I helped to coach all three of my kids when they first started to play but now they are older I am able to sit on the sidelines and just watch and enjoy. Basic requirements for practice and the games were soccer shoes, shin guards, and rehydration drinks such as water or Gatorade.
The latest US success in the World Cup will help to keep the fire going for soccer here in the states. You could only imagine what the games would have looked like had the World Cup been held in the states this year with those 100 plus temperatures. In South Africa players were bundled up on the sidelines because they were in the beginning of their Winter season. Even in the cooler weather you need to stay hydrated and they you could see the players taking small packets of liquids to help them rehydrate. Stay cool and enjoy the rest of the summer.

Thinking about camping

How many times do we plan a camping trip in the middle of summer, where the temperatures are hot and we spend more time away from the campfire than near it? Instead of dodging the campfire for excess heat, wouldn’t it be nice to use a campfire for warmth? You can grab your tents, tarps, and sleeping bags and start planning for that camping trip. We only light the summer campfires so we can roast our marshmallows and hot dogs. Perhaps a few campers use it for a source of light at night, but the summer campfires can be more of a hassle than a pleasure.

A winter camping trip would be all about the campfire. I have been out in the woods at night with very cold temperatures and you can’t get close enough to that campfire. This is when camping can be a lot of fun. If you have to use your campfire for warmth, you have planned the perfect night for camping! And with some simple planning you can use tarps to help create wind breakers or snow barriers. You see the use of tarps in many winter and summer camping trips and even on those high mountain adventures to help provide protection against the wind and rain.

You can still pack the hot dogs and marshmallows for roasting on the fire. Everyone will want to be the chef on winter camping trips. It’s just another excuse to get closer to the campfire. A bag of charcoal and the grill is fine to bring along. I prefer a good grilled hamburger over a hot dog, so grills are allowed on camping trips. The portable things that run off batteries should be kept at home, so you get a better experience with Mother Nature. And don’t forget the poly tarps that you can now get them in assorted colors and camouflage. If you don’t have a lot of talkers in your camping party, you may want to bring a radio for a little entertainment. Only a radio that everyone can listen to, this doesn’t mean the IPods, the Walkmans, or any portable televisions you may own.

Staying in hotels can be a great experience if some of the basic amenities are in place. I travel quite a bit and here are three of the top things that I look for in a hotel:

We were looking at a Los Gatos hotels online and their tollhouse specials for a romantic getaway and some of the amenities that they offer such as a picnic basket filled with wine, chocolate, and fruit. Who would you want on your ringtone

With two young daughters in our home and involved in sports we are constantly running around to practice and games. We have decided to give them cell phones so that they can always call us and we are able to contact them at anytime. Many of their friends now carry cell phones and texting is more of a form of communication than actually talking on the phone. My kids are always asking to get the latest rigntones so that they can customize their phones so that’s why we are considering giving my oldest daughter one of the latest Katy perry ring tones from Jamster.com. I have even thought of putting a the Katy Perry Hot n Cold ringtone on my phone and assign it to my daughter in order to tell right away that she is calling.

Katy Perry is one my daughters favorite artist and she has many of her songs downloaded to her iPod and now wants to have some of those songs as her ringtones so that she can assign them to each of her friends. With so many artists now available to download to your cell phone it can be difficult to know which ones sound good on a cell phone. Watching movies online

The modern horror movies do have some nice technology these days, but the human mind still can’t be beat. The people that created the Saw movies are certainly using their brains to show us some things in horror movies we have never seen before. Have you had a chance to watch any of the Saw movies yet? These are thrillers and will probably have you closing your eyes from time to time as you see some of these gruesome scenes.

I think the first Saw movie was great and wasn’t that impressed with the 2 that followed it. I have recently seen Saw IV or Saw 4 and thought it was a really good movie. I haven’t watched Saw 5 yet, but now I am hearing that Saw 6 is coming to theaters soon. How soon, you ask? The late October release for Saw VI was perfect timing for the Halloween holiday that is fast approaching. And now you can catch many of the earlier and current versions online. Thanks to broadband you can now Watch Movies Online that are newly released or classic thrillers with much better clarity.
